Triggers and Macros
Triggers and Macros allow the operator to program procedures to occur based on specific Events.  A Trigger is defined as an Event that occurs in the system with specific properties. These triggers are linked to execute Macros.  A Macro is a command or a set of sequential commands put together.

  • 1000 Triggers and 1000 Action Commands can be defined per region
  • Macro limit is limited by the amount of expandable RAM in the controller
  • Associate actions to occur based on any event in the system
  • 1000 Trigger Codes per region
 

Triggers
A Trigger is defined as an Event that occurs in the system with specific properties.  These properties include the address the time schedule, the event type and the specific properties associated to the event.  Triggers are normally linked to execute a set of procedures or commands called Macros.  Below is a brief list of Triggers that can be programmed with the IS2000 software.

  • Access Granted/Denied Card Event
  • Keypad Entry Granted/Denied
  • Keypad Code Entered
  • Door is Locked/Unlocked/Forced Open/Held Open
  • Control Point Change of State
  • Monitor Point Status Change
  • Monitor Point Armed/DisArmed
  • Reader Mode Change of State
  • Time Schedule Activated/DeActivated
  • Trigger Activated
  • Macro Activated
  • Controller Power Status Change
  • Controller Tamper Status Change
  • Controller Communication Status Change
  • Sub-Controller Power Status Change
  • Sub-Controller Tamper Status Change
  • Sub-Controller Communication Status Change

Macros
A Macro is a command or a set of sequential commands put together that can be executed either manually or from a Trigger.  Below is a list of commands and procedures that can be programmed as Macros with the IS2000 software.

  • Arm/DisArm Security Area Zone(s)
  • Control Point Activate/DeActivate/Timed Pulse/Repeating Timed Pulse
  • Reader Mode Change
  • Reset Anti-Passback for a particular reader
  • Lock/Unlock Door(s)
  • Timed Delay
  • Execute Macro
  • Video Commands (PTZ Control, Quick Record)
  • Run an EXE file
  • Voice Output Commands
  • Customized URL commands
  • Customized TCP commands
  • Customized Serial commands
